OCAA Men's BasketballDurham College defeats Centennial 90-72 OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team showcased their offensive depth Tuesday night as they avenged their November loss to the Centennial Colts.
All five starters for the Lords were within two points of each other to lead the team to a 90-72 victory.
Aaron Hayles (Pickering, Ont.) and
Darian Rowe (Maple, Ont.) each had 18 points for Durham.
Dylan Pelissero (Oshawa, Ont.),
Eric Smith (Ajax, Ont.) and
Ajahmo Clarke (Ajax, Ont.) all had double-doubles. Pelissero had 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Clarke scored 16 points with 15 rebounds.
Smith added 17 points with 12 assists.
Centennial's Joseph Wani led the Colts with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
The Lords led 25-14 after the first quarter and 42-36 at halftime. Durham outscored Centennial 29-23 and 19-13 in the final two quarters.
