KITCHENER, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team has won their first preseason game of 2018-19 as they prepare to host the David Stewart Tip-Off Tournament this weekend.
Thursday night, the Lords knocked off the Conestoga Condors 82-78, following their opening exhibition loss just a week ago to the Niagara Knights.
Brandon Halliburton (Brampton, Ont.) led the Lords scoring with 21 points.

Julian Hinckson Jr. (Ajax, Ont.) finished with 15 points – while rookie guard
Khaled Djabo (Guelph, Ont.) picked up 13.
Chael Stephenson (Ajax, Ont.) and
Craig Hanson (Ajax, Ont.) each finished with 11 points.
In a new format, the Lords will play a guaranteed three games this weekend as part of their annual tournament. Friday, they host the Lambton Lions at 6 p.m.
The following day they take on the Centennial Colts at 9 a.m., followed by a 7 p.m. game against the St. Lawrence Vikings.
