OSHAWA, Ont. - Opening the annual David Stewart Tip-Off Tournament on Friday night at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, the Durham Lords men's basketball team fell 77-72 to the visiting Conestoga Condors.

Veteran forward Fioti Mabanza led the way for the Lords with 19 points in the loss.

Meanwhile, guard Tyrique Walters chipped in with 15 points.

The David Stewart Tip-off Tournament continues tomorrow at the CRWC with the host Lords challenging the Lambton Lions at 9 a.m. and the George Brown Huskies at 7 p.m.
