BRAMPTON, ON - Traveling to challenge the Sheridan Bruins in an exhibition contest, the Durham College men's basketball team fell 70-60 on Wednesday evening.
Making his first appearance in the green and gold,
Adam Hosseini (Toronto, ON) led the way for the Lords in the Wednesday night contest, finishing the evening with 21 points in 25 minutes. Meanwhile, third-year veteran
RJ Stephenson (Markham, ON) also reached double-digits with 17 points, while adding five rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Durham, as a whole, struggled to find their form on the offensive end of the court shooting just 28 percent from the floor. Despite this, the Lords defense was effective, holding the Bruins to just 32 percent shooting themselves, while also outscoring Sheridan in the paint 30-18.
DC will stay on the road, continuing their preseason schedule in Sarnia with a trio of exhibition matches beginning with a showdown versus the Lambton Lions on Friday, Nov. 12. Tip off for the road game is set for 8 p.m with all three contests this weekend being streamed on
