PETERBOROUGH, ON – The Durham Lords women's rugby sevens team had a perfect day to begin the final weekend of the regular season, shutting out all four opponents.
Durham defeated the Loyalist Lancers 32-0 to begin the day at Fleming College, having also shutout the Lancers in their previous two meetings this season.
The Lords went on to have identical scores across their next three games, defeating the Humber Hawks, St. Lawrence Surge and Algonquin Wolves by a score of 34-0 in each game.
With a perfect 16-0 record, the Lords have locked up the #1 seed in the OCAA and will have a bye to the semi-finals at the OCAA Championship.
But first – the Lords will finish off their regular season on Sunday with games against the host Fleming Knights and the Seneca Sting.
