OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham Lords came up short in a 74-39 result against the Loyalist Lancers in their final game of the fall semester.
Durham found its rhythm in the second quarter, putting up 16 points and moving the ball with more confidence.
Telia Campbell helped spark that push, finishing with seven points, five rebounds, four assists, and a pair of steals while playing all 40 minutes.
Taniya Hutchinson contributed a team-leading 14 points, showing her ability to attack the rim and create offence when the Lords needed a lift.
Sarah-Jane Laplante added eight points and eight rebounds, working to create looks inside and staying active on the glass.
Aiesha Lewis gave the Lords a major boost down low with a 17-rebound performance, while scoring eight points and battling through contact all night.
Camryn Wood helped anchor the defensive end with seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks, keeping Durham in several possessions with her energy and timing.
While the offence faced cold stretches, the Lords continued to work for second-chance opportunities, finishing with 15 offensive boards. Their defensive hustle produced 11 steals and moments of real momentum as they pushed back against Loyalist's pace.
As the fall semester portion of the schedule comes to a close, the Lords return to regular season action in Scarborough on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM against the Centennial Colts.
