OSHAWA, Ont. - Andrew Neveu of the Durham College men's rugby team joins alumni Cole Harris and Rowan Closs as selections for Canada's U20 Men's Rugby Team ahead of the 2025 Oceania Rugby U20s Challenge.
The U20s Challenge is set to take place this spring in Fiji at King Charles Park.
"This is a huge achievement for Andrew, Cole, and Rowan. They've earned it," said DC men's rugby head coach John Watkins. "We're proud, and we know they'll represent Durham and Canada with heart."
Uxbridge's Neveu has just completed his second season with the Lords. He has scored a try in each of his two campaigns and helped the Lords to a bronze medal finish in 2023.
Neveu was named the men's rugby rookie of the year at Durham for the 2023-24 season and an OCAA men's rugby east division all-star in 2024-25.
Closs and Harris, both also hailing from Uxbridge, were also key pieces to the bronze medal winning team in 2023.Â
Harris was tied for third on the squad with three tries, with Closs also adding one of his own.
Canada will face Samoa on May 28, Fiji on June 2 and Tonga on June 7.
