Richardson signs at DC in return to Canada

OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College men's basketball team is thrilled to announce the signing of Nathaniel Richardson, a talented guard hailing from Toronto.

Standing at 6-foot-5, Richardson brings both skill and size to the Lords' roster. He joins Durham College after a stint at McLennan Community College in Texas, where he further honed his skills on the court.

Head coach Patrick Kabeya expressed his excitement about adding Richardson to the team, highlighting the positive impact he believes the incoming talent will have on the program.

"Nathaniel is a great addition to our team. He has a tremendous work ethic and is committed to his craft as a basketball player," said Kabeya. "We are excited to have him join our team and look forward to seeing him contribute to our success."

Richardson's decision to join Durham College was driven by his desire to further both his academic and basketball goals.

"The program has a strong reputation, and I believe it will provide me with the platform to continue growing as a player and as a student," said Richardson.

As Richardson embarks on his journey with the Lords, he brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous teams, including Westlake Prep and Grassroots Elite. He has achieved notable success in his playing career, such as winning a state championship and being named to the First Team in the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association.

The Durham College community eagerly anticipates Richardson's contributions and is excited to witness his journey unfold in the green and gold.

Nathaniel will be studying in the General Arts & Science program at Durham College when arriving in September.
