OSHAWA, Ont. – The men's soccer at Durham College opened their season on Friday night at Vaso's Field, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Algonquin Wolves.
Algonquin opened the scoring in the 3rd minute when Mohammed Mecheri found the back of the net early on. Alessandro Vivolo doubled their lead in the fifth minute on a setup from Cristian Aviles-Molina.
The Wolves extended their lead early in the second half, with Mecheri finding the back of the net a second time in the 62nd minute.
The Lords return to action Wednesday night when they host the George Brown Huskies at 8:15 PM at Vaso's Field.
