Wood, an electrical engineering student, was one of three Lords to have 15 kills in the men's volleyball team's 3-2 victory over the Seneca Sting to wrap up the first half of the season on a five-game win streak. Of the three, he was the most efficient, finishing with a .520 hitting percentage. His hitting percentage of .517 is the highest in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and has him ranked fourth in the CCAA. In the victory over Seneca he also had three blocks for a match-high 18 points.

Both volleyball teams are now off until Jan. 6-7 when the women's volleyball team hosts the Adidas Cup at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, while the men travel to Welland for the Niagara Knights Invitational.
