Salter, a first-year nursing student, shined in her first start wearing the green and gold this past weekend in London. Taking to the pitching circle for the Lords second match of their OCAA season opening series on Saturday, Salter was nearly unhittable against the opposing Conestoga Condors. She delivered a complete game effort, striking out 12 over six innings pitched, while giving up just two walks, four hits, and two unearned runs. In addition to her pitching performance, Salter also helped the Lords offensivly in their dominant 12-2 win, going 1-for-3 in the batter's box, with two RBI and one run.
