Durham dominates Trent in their season opener
OCAA Men's Volleyball: Durham defeated Trent 3-0
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's volleyball team looked impressive in their home opener on Thursday night as they defeated Trent University 3-0.
Set scores in the sweep were 25-16, 25-20 and 25-12.

Riley McAllister (Whitby, Ont.) distributed the ball throughout the entire Lords' line-up as seven players had multiple kills in the match. The fifth year setter had 27 assists and 11 digs in the win.
Team captain
Jeremy Hoekstra (Cobourg, Ont.) converted on seven of his 10 kill attempts and added three blocks and one ace to his totals.
Brad VanHartingsveldt (Newcastle, Ont.) and
Luke Kilbourn (Ingersoll, Ont.) had six kills apiece.
Christian Zimmer was Trent's leading scorer with six kills and two blocks.
Thursday's match marked
George Matsusaki's first win as head coach of the Durham College men's volleyball program.
Durham will look to go 2-0 next Wednesday night when they take on the George Brown Huskies in Toronto. Game time is 8 p.m.
