OSHAWA, Ont. – After opening their season with three straight conference wins, the Durham College men's volleyball team has made their way back to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) rankings for the first time in just under a year.
The Lords sit ninth in the first CCAA rankings of the season, along with the Ontario Collegiate Athletic Association's (OCAA) Fanshawe Falcons in third, Mohawk Mountaineers in sixth and Georgian Grizzlies in the 13
th spot.
The last time Durham College was nationally ranked was Nov. 18, 2015 when they were 11
th in the nation.
With a 3-0 record the Lords are tied atop the OCAA east region with Georgian.
Durham will play the Grizzlies this Thursday in Barrie for the first time this season. Opening serve of the men's match is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Bret Polfuss (Kitchener, Ont.) sits in a tie for tenth in the OCAA with 3.8 points per set. Over three matches he has 34 kills, six blocks and two aces.
