OTTAWA, Ont. – After knocking off the Algonquin Thunder in their first meeting of the 2015-16 season, the Durham College women's basketball team struggled against the first place Thunder on Saturday night.
Kayla Marshall (Ottawa, Ont.) played all 40 minutes and led the Lords with 19 points in their 101-53 loss to Algonquin.

Lindsay Panchan (Ajax, Ont.) scored 11 points for Durham in her 24 minutes on the court.
Katie Flansbury led Algonquin with a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds, while Nya Gathoth and Amoney Abakar chipped in 21 and 18 points respectively.
With the loss the Lords have dropped into a tie with the St. Lawrence Vikings for second in the OCAA east division. Seneca, Loyalist and George Brown are in a three-way tie for fourth in the division with 12 points apiece.
Both teams hold 7-5 records and will face each other Friday night at 6 p.m. in Oshawa at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
