NORTH BAY, Ont. - Competing in their third game in as many days, the Durham Lords women's basketball team fell 67-52 to the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday afternoon in North Bay.
DC kept it close throughout, pulling to within six points of their OUA competitors in the third. However, the Lords ran out of steam down the stretch as they continue to round into game shape ahead of the start if the OCAA regular season.
Andrea Zulich (Sudbury, Ont.) played exceptional in the contest against her former team, recording a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Durham will finish their preseason schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 9 as they welcome the Niagara Knights to the Campus Rrecreation and Wellness Centre for a doubleheader with the men's teams. Tip-off for the women is scheduled for 6 p.m.
