WELLAND, Ont. - Competing in their second exhibition contest in as many days, the Durham Lords women's basketball team fell 52-51 to the Conestoga Condors on Friday afternoon.
After picking up a hard fought win the day prior, the Lords were in tough against a game-opponent in the Condors. Both teams showcase stellar defence in the physical matchup. Third-year athlete
Emily Glendinning (Plattsville, Ont.) led the way for the Lords with 20 points, while guard
Andrea Zulich (Sudbury, Ont.) added 16.
The Lords will return to regular season action on Tuesday, Jan. 14 when they welcome the Loyalist Lancers to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
