WELLAND, Ont. - Competing at the Niagara Invitational, the Durham College men's volleyball team suffered a hard fought five set loss, before also falling in straight sets later in the day on Saturday.
DC began their day versus the Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu Géants from Quebec, falling in a five set match that came down to the final two points. Set scores for the match were 25-18, 20-25, 15-25, 25-22, 13-15. The Lords then were defeated in straight sets by the Mohawk Mountaineers to finish Day 1 of the tournament.
Durham returns to the court early Sunday morning to face the Conestoga Condors. First serve for the early morning contest is scheduled for 9 a.m.
