OSHAWA, ON - The Durham College men's volleyball team returned to the court with a four set preseason victory over the visiting Trent Excalibur on Thursday night at the CRWC Set scores for the match were 25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 27-25.
First-year setter
Kyle Travis (Courtice, ON) ran the offense for DC, finishing the night with 14 assists, with his favourite taget on the evening being fellow rookie
William Egan (Cobden, ON) who tallied eight kills and an ace. Also scoring for the Lords was third-year veteran and team captain
Quinton Hudgins (Port Perry, ON) who registered five kills, two service aces, and a block.
Durham will now hit the road for more preseason action, beginning with a trip to Hamilton to face the Mohawk Mountaineers this Saturday, Oct. 30. First serve for the exhibition contest is scheduled for 4 p.m.
