SCARBOROUGH, ON - Going back on the road, the Durham Lords men's volleyball team fall short against the Centennial Colts, losing in three sets.
After losing 25-13 in the opening set, Durham battled back in each of the following frames but would be swept after falling 25-18 and 25-19 in the second and third sets.
William Egan (Cobden, ON) was the team leader in kills with five on 20 total attempts, Carter Reid (Oshawa, ON) next in line with three.
Kyle Travis (Courtice, ON) had all 15 assists on the afternoon and Tyler Jegen (Calgary, AB) served the lone ace. He also led the team in digs with seven of a combined 16.
At the net, Travis and Josh Padmore (Hamilton, ON) each recorded a pair of blocked shots, while Jegen and Nandor Gallo (Oshawa, ON) had one each.
The Lords are back in action on Sunday at home against the La Cité Coyotes.
