Lords start season with two-win week

Box Score OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College men's volleyball team picked up a hard-fought three set win over the Centennial Colts on Saturday.

Two of three sets went long, with the Lords outlasting the Colts each time 28-26 and 27-25. In the second set they still won by just two points, 25-23.

Quinton Hudgins (Port Perry, Ont.) led the Lords with 10 kills, while leading the team with three blocks.

Tyler Jegen (Calgary, Alta.) and William Egan (Cobden, Ont.) each added six kills. Jegen and Kyle Travis (Courtice, Ont.) added two aces each for Durham in the match.
