OSHAWA, ON - The men's volleyball team at Durham College bounced back on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the La Cité Coyotes at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC).
The Lords made it a quick afternoon, sending the Coyotes packing without a set victory as the Lords took it in straight sets - 25-19; 25-20 and 25-17.
This win brought Durham back up to .500 on the season with a 4-4 record through eight matches played.
Most of the offensive play drove through Carter Reid (Oshawa, ON), who finished the afternoon with nine kills on 23 total attempts and three digs.
William Egan (Cobden, ON) made an appearance in one set, finishing with five kills and three service aces for 8.0 points. Jack Egan (Cobden, ON) completed the game with four kills, four digs, a service ace and a dig.
With 19 assists, Ben Rocheleau (Stouffville, ON) brought his season total up to 82.
The Lords have three matches left to end the fall semester, but their next one on Thursday, November 23 will be their final at home until January. Come pack the CRWC for an 8:00 PM tip-off against the Centennial Colts.
