OSHAWA, ON - The Durham College men's volleyball team battled all evening but ultimately fell in four sets to the visiting Centennial Colts.

Centennial held a lead for the majority of the opening set, although by three or less as the Lords knew what they had to do to stay in it. The Colts found themselves ahead 24-21 but Durham was able to score a pair of points to bring themselves back within one. It wouldn't be enough as the Colts took the set 25-23.

Once down 23-14, the Lords showed lots of battle in their game with five consecutive points to keep the second set alive before the Colts finished it off 25-19.

Durham kept the night alive with a third set victory, flying to a 25-18 victory in a frame where they led for the vast majority of the time.

The Lords stayed right on Centennial's tail all the way through the fourth set, but could not get over the hump as the Colts took the frame 25-20 and the match 3-1.

Will Doucet (Toronto, ON) finished the night as the team leader in points with 12.0, registering five kills, a service ace and six blocked shots.

Tyler Jegen (Calgary, ab) and Jonas Felix (Woodbridge, ON) were both in double-digit territory, each scoring 10.0 points on the night. Jegen recorded nine kills and a blocked shot, while Felix earned six kills, two service aces and a pair of blocked shots.

Kyle Travis (Courtice, ON) added another 32 assists to his season total, bringing his tally up to 206 and placing him top-10 in the OCAA.

DC look ahead to November 29 where they will take a trip to Seneca College to face the Sting at 6:00 PM.
