Box Score OSHAWA, ON - The Durham College men's soccer team stay unbeaten through two matches this season, holding the Seneca Sting to a scoreless draw on Friday evening.
Durham generated more opportunities in the first 45 minutes, attempting 10 shots to Seneca's four, however both goalkeepers stood strong going into the halftime break.
In the second half the pace of play evened out a little more with Durham outshooting Seneca 8-6 on shot attempts.
With the seconds ticking down, Garrett Werner (Ajax, ON) made a spectacular 90th minute save to keep the score line level and earn the Lords a point in the standings.
The Lords now sit with one win and one draw to begin the season. They're back in action on Friday, September 22 at Vaso's Field for an 8:15 PM start against the Algonquin Wolves.
