OSHAWA, ON - The Durham College men's soccer team fell to the Algonquin Wolves on Friday night with a late deciding goal.
Despite outshooting the Wolves 6-2 in the opening 45 minutes, the two sides went into the halftime break in a scoreless draw.
The second half saw some frustrations boil over, resulting in two cautions per side.
In the 71st minute, Algonquin broke the deadlock with a shot from a long ways out that was re-directed in front of the net. This would ultimately be the first and only goal of the match to give the Wolves the victory.
Durham are back at home on Saturday night against St. Lawrence at 8:15 PM.
