OSHAWA, Ont. - The Lords end their regular season in women's soccer with a 3-1 loss to the Centennial Colts at Vaso's Field on Saturday.
Just over half an hour into the game, the undefeated Colts found the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead in what was the only goal of the opening 45 minutes.
In the second half, the Colts doubled their lead in the 63rd minute.
Sage Thomas-Roberts took advantage of a poorly placed pass from the Colts midfield in the 76th minute, putting Durham on the board and lessening the gap to one.
Centennial responded seven minutes later, re-gaining a two goal lead and ultimately winning 3-1.
Durham now await their next opponent for the qualifiers to the 2024 OCAA Women's Soccer Championship on Wednesday, October 16.
