TORONTO, Ont. - The Durham Lords are back in the win column with a commanding straight-set victory over George Brown, finishing the match with scores of 26-24, 25-23, and 26-24.
Durham's attack was led by William Egan, who racked up eight kills with an impressive .429 hitting percentage while adding 10.0 points overall.
Tyler Jegen was also incredibly instrumental, contributing 8.0 points with five kills, two service aces, and one solo block.
Setter Kyle Travis orchestrated the offence with 23 assists, surpassing 1,000 for his career. Reaching this milestone, Travis becomes the second player in Durham College men's volleyball history to record over 1,000 assists in his career. In addition, he also in three kills and a block for 4.0 points.
Trent Engel registered four kills on seven attempts, finishing with a team-high .571 hitting percentage.
George Brown posted 23 service errors, making it difficult to maintain any momentum in the match.
Durham returns to the court for the final time in the calendar year on Friday, November 29 at 8:00 PM against the Georgian Grizzlies at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre.
