MONTRÉAL, QC - Durham College's varsity Esports program is set to compete on the international stage once again at the annual Lan ETS competition.

École de technologie supérieure hosts one of the largest Lan Party competitions in North America where more than 1,000 Esports players make their way to Québec to play in any of the 12 PC or console-based tournaments.

Six of Durham's varsity teams have an entry into the competition - Call of Duty, Counter Strike 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Valorant.

Last year, the Lords earned top-10 placements in Rocket League, Valorant and Super Smash Bros. 

Other competitions include Teamfight Tactics, Trackmania, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6 and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.

The event to be hosted at Palais des congrès includes an opening ceremony on Friday night, followed by other games and prizes to be won outside of the normal tournaments.
