WINDSOR, Ont. - Durham College varsity esports competed in Windsor as part of the St. Clair Gauntlet Series for Rocket League.
The competition included teams from across Canada and the United States, dropping the first game of the group stage against the Ole Miss Rebels by a 3-1 score.
Durham bounced back with a pair of wins, sweeping the Fanshawe Falcons 3-0 before ending the group stage with a win over the host St. Clair Saints (Gold) to secure two wins in three matches.
Clinching a spot in the playoffs, Durham swept the Conestoga Condors in the opening round. However, their run came to an end against a tough St. Clair (Green) side, losing in three.
Placing in the top four, the Lords came back home with their heads held high and a total of three wins on the day.
