OSHAWA, Ont. - Ajax's Trent Engel is the latest addition to the Durham College men's volleyball team for the 2024-25 season.

After graduating from Ajax High School in 2018, Engel studied towards a Bachelor of Commerce at Toronto Metropolitan University, graduating in 2022.

Trent was an avid beach volleyball player living in Hawaii, playing in open tournaments on the island and continues to compete closer to home in Toronto.

He notably competed in the Hawaii 5-0 Classic in 2023, as well as the out of system Luau tournament in the open division in the same year.

Engel will continue his studies in the Project Management graduate certificate program at DC this fall. 

The Lords open their season on Friday, October 18 in Peterborough against the Fleming Phoenix.
