BARRIE, Ont. - The Durham Lords fell to the Georgian Grizzlies 66-46 on Tuesday evening.
Emma Bergen led Durham with 19 points, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the field, and contributed seven rebounds and three steals.
Emily Balkissoon added 10 points, hitting three three-pointers, while also recording three assists.
Onika Leveridge was a bright spot defensively, tallying five steals and eight rebounds, seven of which were defensive.
Defensively, the Lords forced 23 turnovers and recorded 12 steals, but Georgian's balanced scoring and strong finish in the second half widened the gap.Â
The women's basketball team will wrap up their regular season in Toronto on Friday at 6:00 PM against the George Brown Huskies.
