OSHAWA, Ont. - Christopher Dean is the newest member of the Durham College men's volleyball team.
The Oshawa, Ontario, native joins the Lords as a 6-foot-6 middle blocker.Â
Dean played his high school volleyball at Dunbarton High School and is a member of the class of 2024. The newest addition to the Lords roster has also played club volleyball for the Durham Attack for two seasons.Â
Dean shared what led to his decision to choose Durham College and join the Lords.
"I've heard their trades' courses are good and they have a great volleyball team," said Dean.
Head coach Dwayne Cochrane gave his thoughts on Dean joining the program and how he'll fit in with the team culture.Â
"Christopher will come into the program with the potential to be a key member of the team," explained Cochrane. "He is a great competitor and will fit in nicely with the team culture. We are excited to have him join the program."
Christopher will studying in the Trades Fundamentals program when he arrives to campus in September.
