OSHAWA, Ont. - Durham College men's baseball has added another local talent to its 2026 recruiting class as Whitby native Aidan Narinesingh has committed to the Lords.

Standing 6-foot-6, Narinesingh brings versatility to Durham's roster with the ability to contribute at both corner infield positions while also providing depth on the mound as a right-handed pitcher.

"Aidan is an exciting addition to our program because he brings a unique combination of size, athleticism and versatility," said Head Coach Scott Cawker. "He has the ability to impact the game in multiple ways, whether it's in the infield or on the mound. He's a local player who has continued to develop his game, and we're looking forward to helping him reach the next level while competing for championships here at Durham."

A graduate of Henry Street High School, Narinesingh joins the Lords after spending time at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights and competing with the Whitby Chiefs. During his amateur career, he also earned Ontario Yankees First Team All-Star honours in 2024 and competed in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO) in 2025.

One of the most memorable moments of Narinesingh's baseball career came when he connected for his first career home run, a milestone that remains a highlight of his time on the diamond.

Narinesingh will study Mechanical Techniques - Plumbing at Durham College, pairing his academic goals with the opportunity to continue his baseball career close to home.

"I chose Durham because of the competitive baseball program, fantastic schooling and great facilities," said Narinesingh. "I'm excited for the opportunity to keep developing as a player while representing my hometown college."

With his combination of size, defensive flexibility and experience, Narinesingh adds another promising piece to the Lords as the program continues to build for the 2026 season.

The baseball season opens at Kinsmen Stadium on Saturday, September 5 with a doubleheader against the St. Clair Saints. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
