Durham College Athletics

Dimeji, a recreation and leisure major, was key in Durham clinching their playoff spot as they defeated the Loyalist Lancers 76-56 at home on Saturday. Against his former team he was dominant for the Lords, posting the only double-double of the game with 22 points and 14 boards. On Friday at Fleming he was also huge for the Lords. Dimeji shot over 50 per cent from the floor as he was 10-for-19 for 24 points, while adding six rebounds and two assists.

Both basketball teams wrap up their regular seasons on Tuesday night at home against the St. Lawrence Vikings. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 and 8 p.m. at the CRWC. On Saturday, the women's team will host their OCAA championship qualifying game at 6 p.m. As fourth in the east they host the five seed from the west. The winner will travel to Seneca College the following weekend for the OCAA championship.
