Durham College Athletics

OSHAWA, Ont. – Milinda Roblero (Pickering, Ont.) of the women's soccer and Brodie Harkness (Bowmanville, Ont.) of the baseball team have been named Durham College student-athletes of the week presented by Subway North Oshawa for the period ending October 15.
 
Roblero, a police foundations student, had a three-goal weekend for the Lords in a pair of victories – which locked up third place in the OCAA east region. On Friday night, she netted two goals in a 6-1 victory over the Vikings – including the first of the match in the seventh minute. On Saturday at Loyalist she capped off Durham's 4-0 victory with her eighth goal of the year, in the 72^nd minute.
 
This week the women's soccer team will wrap up their regular season in Peterborough on Wednesday before returning home on Saturday, Oct. 21 for an OCAA championship qualifying game. Kick off will be 1 p.m. at the Oshawa Civic – Field 5.

The Durham College athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
