Joensen, a third-year occupational therapist and physiotherapist assistant student, helped the Lords women's volleyball team end their season with two more wins to secure a perfect 18-0 regular season record for the second time in three years. In the Lords home finale this past Thursday, Joensen led all players with a season-high 15 points, recording 13 kills, one ace and one block in the victory over Seneca. Then on the road for their final match of the regular season she was one of three dominant players at the service line for the Lords, cashing in on six aces and three kills in a decisive three set win over Fleming. Joensen finishes the regular season second in team scoring, averaging a career-high 3.3 points per set.Â
