Durham College Athletics

Spafford, a third-year fitness and health promotion student, provided veteran leadership to the Lords during their semifinal contest versus the Georgian Grizzlies this past Saturday. A two-time winner of Durham College's ETS Award, the Oshawa native provided good defense for DC making several tackles during the very physical rivalry matchup. In addition, Spafford also was strong in the Lords set pieces and helped to lead DC's forward group. Rounding out his Saturday performance, he was one of three Lords players to score a try in an exciting first half of action in Barrie.
