OCAA Women's Soccer: Seneca defeated Durham 6-0
NORTH YORK, Ont. – The Durham College women's soccer team's OCAA regular season finale did not go as planned as the Seneca Sting rolled to a 6-0 victory in North York. The loss puts an end to Durham's seven game unbeaten streak.
Seneca's Nicole Forbes scored four goals in the win, as the Sting clinched the OCAA east region title with their eighth win of the year.
Durham finishes the regular season with a 5-2-2 record, which is good enough for fourth place in the regional standings.
The Lords will advance to the postseason where they will host the Cambrian Golden Shield in the OCAA qualifying round on Saturday, October 12. Kick-off is at 5 p.m.
Cambrian finished in fifth place with a 4-4-1 record. Durham defeated Cambrian 5-1 in Sudbury earlier this year.
NOTES: Both of Durham's losses this season have been by the score of 6-0
