Box Score Durham swept by the Panthers in North Bay


OCAA Women's Volleyball: Canadore defeated Durham 3-0

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team were in tough up north this weekend as the Lords dropped a 3-0 decision to the Canadore Panthers. Set scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-23.

This is the Lords second straight 3-0 loss after racking up three straight wins.

Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) once again led the green and gold in scoring as she recorded 14 kills. Broad entered the game second in OCAA east region scoring averaging 4.3 points per set. Freshman Madison Rae-White was second on the team with five.

Sitting at 3-4, the Lords will look to get back to the .500 mark as they travel to Barrie on Friday, November 29 to take on the Georgian Grizzlies. Georgian is one of the hottest teams in the OCAA as they are 6-1 and on a five-game winning streak.
