Box Score Lords women's volleyball picks up a win before the holiday break
OCAA Women's Volleyball: Durham defeated Loyalist 3-0
BELLEVILLE, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Loyalist Lancers.
After pulling out a 30-28 first set victory which took over a half hour to play, Durham rolled to 25-12 and 25-19 wins over the next two sets to earn the sweep.

Joelle Parnham (Orillia, Ont.) fed outside hitters
Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) and
Rayan Bourne (Whitby, Ont.) 41 times, as they converted 10 and six kills respectively. Broad added two aces and a block to her totals to lead all scorers with 13 points. Parnham finished with a season-high 22 assists.
Head coach Shane Christopher would take advantage of the depth in his line-up as 14 players saw court time in the win.
Amy Parker had a standout game for the Lancers as she had nine kills in the losing effort.
The Lords have been inconsistent in the first half of the season as they close out conference play with a 4-5 record and sit in sixth place of the OCAA east region standings.
Durham will look to turn things around in 2014 starting with the 26th annual Adidas Cup which will run from January 3-4 at the CRWC.
