OCAA Women's Soccer: Cambrian defeated Durham 9-3 OSHAWA, Ont. – Despite a lopsided loss to the Cambrian Golden Shield on Saturday, the Durham College women's soccer team clinched a berth in the OCAA playoffs.
Depending on the result of the Loyalist/Centennial match on Sunday, the Lords will either finish in fifth or sixth place in the OCAA east region and will hit the road next weekend for the opening round of the playoffs.

Ramon McIntosh will be looking for his team to regain their form from their previous two outings where the Lords defeated George Brown and Fleming to book a spot in the playoffs.
Against Cambrian on Saturday, the Lords were heavily outmatched as Cambrian dominated play especially in the first half, as they shot out to a 6-0 lead. OCAA leading scorer Tiffany Johnson had a hat-trick in the opening 20 minutes, bringing her goal total to 16 on the year. With one game remaining, Johnson is four goals shy of the OCAA all-time record for most goals in a season, which is currently held by Durham's Katie Watts set back in 2008. Taylor Rocca also had a standout game for Cambrian scoring four goals, bringing her season total to 12.
Jade Kurhan (Oshawa, Ont.) recorded two goals for Durham, while
Riley Graham (Oshawa, Ont.) had the other off a penalty kick. Cambrian outshot Durham 12-6 as they earned their sixth win of the regular season.
