OCAA Men's Baseball: Durham defeated George Brown 12-2

TORONTO – The Durham College men's baseball team had their most complete game of the season on Wednesday night as they picked up a 12-2 road victory over the George Brown Huskies.

Ilija Bozinovski (Ajax, Ont.) pitched the complete game for Durham as he allowed two runs, one of which was unearned, on six Husky hits. The right-handed pitcher had great control and pitch selection on the night as he struck out six batters and only walked two. This was Bozinovski's second conference win in as many starts.

Offensively, Durham was firing on all cylinders as they combined for 10 runs over the final four innings to put the game to rest. The Lords recorded 12 hits in the win, four of which were off the bat of Spencer Green (Mallorytown, Ont.) who went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored. Aaron McQuillen (Ajax, Ont.) also had a big night at the plate going 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored.

The Lords sit at 2-3 to start the season and will look to knock off the St. Clair Saints in their home opener on Saturday afternoon at Kinsmen Memorial Stadium. St. Clair is 9-0 to start the season which includes two victories over Durham in Windsor.
