In the top of the seventh inning with two outs and the Lords hanging on to a one run lead, St. Clair's Rob Cooper was at the plate with two runners on base. Cooper would hit a line drive to Lords first baseman Brennan Conquer (Ajax, Ont.), who snagged the ball but dropped it while trying the show the umpire he had caught it. Freshman second baseman
Michael Chilvers (
Sutton West, Ont.) would make a heads up play, scooping up the loose ball and beating Cooper to first base, ending the game on a force out.
Lords starting pitcher
Ilija Bozinovski (Ajax, Ont.) earned his second win of the week, as he pitched another complete game. Bozinovski threw 110 pitches and allowed two runs off of six St. Clair hits.
With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning,
Aaron McQuillen (Ajax, Ont.) and

In game one, 2014 OCAA MVP Kyle Breitner of St. Clair was throwing darts, as he allowed only four hits in the complete game shutout. Chilvers and Conquer were both 2-for-3 for Durham, as they were the only Lords to get hits in the game.
Ryan Norris (Oshawa, Ont.) had a solid start, but the St. Clair bats would eventually heat up as they put seven runs on the board. Eric Cunningham had a standout game going 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored for St. Clair.
