Durham College won their seventh straight women's volleyball match Saturday night with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-16) sweep of La Cité Coyotes.
Their win streak, which has helped them move into second place in the OCAA East Division, started Nov. 14 when they won 3-0 over Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Playing a big part in her team's success,
Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) led the Lords with 11 kills in Saturday's victory. On the season she now has 96 kills to lead Durham College.
The rest of the Lords offence was spread out as
Emily Hacker (Cobourg, Ont.),
Maddie Rae-White (Cobourg, Ont.),
Tess Newey (Hampton, Ont.) and
Courtney Stoffers (Frankford, Ont.) had six, five, four and three kills respectively.
Tanya Carriere led La Cité with 10 kills and three blocks.
Durham's next game is Jan. 14 on the road against Loyalist, with their next home Jan. 28 versus Georgian.
