Box Score PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball return to Oshawa for their home opener this Thursday with a pair of victories to start their OCAA season.
Durham won their match Sunday over the Fleming Knights in straight sets (25-12, 26-24, 25-15) to start the season with a 2-0 record.
Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) led the Lords with 11 kills, while
Allison Marshall (Orillia, Ont.) had six.
Kristen Curtis (Frankford, Ont.) had five kills, while
Lucia Kalmeyer (Oshawa, Ont.) picked up four.
Stephanie Larose (Whitby, Ont.) had three service aces to lead Durham from the service line.
Cassandra Forget led the Knights with five kills. Madeline Belsey picked up four kills in Fleming's three-set loss.
The Lords (2-0) will now host the George Brown Huskies (0-2) on Thursday, Oct. 29. First serve is 6 p.m. at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
