OSHAWA, Ont. – With their 1-0 victory over the Fleming Knights on Thursday night at home, the Durham College women's soccer team remained undefeated in conference play this season.
In a game that each team had multiple quality scoring chances in, it was the Lords capitalizing on a penalty kick in the 69
th minute that made the difference in the 1-0 contest.
Ashlie Drake went to her left, which was the correct direction, but
Rachel Armstrong still found the mesh past the outstretched keeper to put Durham ahead.
At the end of the match
Jessica Prytulka picked up her first cleansheet of the regular season with five saves for the Lords. Drake made 19 saves for Fleming in the loss.
Durham will now travel to Centennial on Saturday to take on the Colts. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
