OSHAWA, Ont. – After earning a bye to the OCAA championship by finishing the regular season first in the OCAA east division, the Durham College women's volleyball team is prepared for their opening match against the Cambrian Golden Shield.
This season the two teams only met once, during the Adidas Cup at Durham College in January, a match that the Lords won 2-0.
Last season, en route to their silver medal, Durham defeated Cambrian 3-0 in the provincial semifinal at Redeemer.
The No. 14 ranked Lords will take on the Golden Shield in the first match of this year's championship, being hosted by Canadore College, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25.
