WELLAND, Ont. - The Durham College women's volleyball team finished second at the Niagara Invitational on Sunday afternoon in Welland.
Following two wins the day prior, DC opened Sunday with an early morning straight sets victory over the Georgian Grizzlies. Set scores were 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.
The Lords then matched up with the defending OCAA champion Fanshawe Falcons, battling to a five-set defeat. Set scores were 19-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 3-15).

Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) were named tournament all-stars.
Next on the schedule for the Lords is the start of the OCAA regular season, traveling to Ottawa to challenge the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 19. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m., with all regular season action set to be streamed on
