Box Score 2 SARNIA, Ont. - In a rescheduled game following inclement weather in the previous weeks, the Durham College men's baseball team picked up two vital wins over the Lambton Lions on Monday night in Sarnia.
Battling to secure their place at OCAA championship, hosted this season by Durham College at Kinsmen Stadium from Oct. 18-19, the Lords secured four important points in the standings with decisive 17-1 and 10-2 wins over the fresh-faced Lions.
This season marks the first in the OCAA for Lambton who remain winless in their inaugural campaign. Meanwhile, Durham moves securely into fourth place with a 9-6 record, tied in points with the 9-5 third place Seneca Sting.
The Lords final regularly scheduled season game is set for Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Humber, but the team will also be looking to make up a suspended game versus George Brown and a postponed doubleheader against Seneca before the week is out. First pitch in the confirmed Wednesday night contest is set for 7:30 p.m. Details for the makeup games are still to come.

• All nine batters recorded an RBI in the dominant road win as Durham outhit Lambton 20-5.
• Leading the offence was third-year infielder
Jordan D'Amico (Courtice, Ont.) who registered a 4-for-5 Game 1 in the batter's box, scoring two RBI and two runs in the win.
Game 2
• Providing a booming bat to the Lords all season long, first-year catcher and first baseman
Fernando Suarez Muniz (Whitby, Ont.) was 2-for-3 in Game 2, scoring three RBI and a run.

Griffin Oliver (Oshawa, Ont.) and
Riley Gray (Caledonia, Ont.) each added two RBI, while
Jake Storry (Port Perry, Ont.) registered one.

Jake Legros (Whitby, Ont.) allowed just one earned run in the mercy shortened game, striking out four Lions and allowing five hits in five innings of work.
• Paul Sheeler and Dan McGonigle combined for the loss for Lambton, giving up 11 earned runs combined.

Josh Krstulovich (Brampton, Ont.) and
Justin Travis (Oshawa, Ont.) combined for the win, allowing one earned run and striking out 10 between the pair.
• Lambton pitcher Eric Steves was handed the loss, going six innings, allowing nine hits and eight earned runs, including a six run second inning.
