ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Beginning their exhibition schedule in St. Louis against the Southwestern Illinois Blue Storm, the Durham College baseball team earned an 8-5 win over the opponents from Belleville, Illinois.

Griffin Oliver (Oshawa, Ont.) was 4-for-6 with two RBI and two runs in the preseason contest.
• MVP for the Durham Lords in 2018,
Reagan Manley (Peterborough, Ont.) was also impressive at the plate going 3-for-6 with an RBI and a run.
• DC utilized five different pitchers in the outing, allowing for multiple players to showcase their skills during the exhibition match.
• Second-year pitcher
Jason Crouse (Oshawa, Ont.) picked up the win pitching 2.3 innings, striking out four, while giving up just two walks, two hits, and two earned runs.
• Fellow second-year
Josh Krstulovich (Brampton, Ont.) was also a factor on the mound striking out three in two innings of work, allowing just one hit and one earned run.
