WINDSOR, ON - Continuing a very busy preseason schedule, the Durham College women's volleyball team finished 3-1 as part of a four match road trip this weekend.
Beginning their trip in London, the Lords defeated the Fanshawe Falcons in a four set exhibition contest on Friday night. DC won the first three sets of the match 25-18, 25-16, 25-21, before dropping an additional fourth set 25-19.
Durham then made their way to Windsor to compete in an invitational hosted by St. Clair College. Competing in two matches on Saturday, DC first made quick work of Niagara winning in three quick sets 25-14, 25-21, 25-20. Durham then knocked off Canadore in three straight sets 27-25, 25-22, 25-22. The Lords and Panthers have met three times already this preseason with DC coming out on top in all three matches. Rounding out the trip, Durham fell 3-1 to the host Saints on Sunday by set scores of 26-24, 18-25, 14-25, 20-25.
After competing in nine exhibition matches on the road this fall, the Lords will conclude their preseason schedule at the CRWC with two more matches and the annual Adidas Cup Tournament. Next up will be a match versus the Redeemer Royals on Thursday, Nov. 11 with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m. and the exhibition set to be streamed on
OCAA LIVE.
